The February 5, 2028 date signifies a slight but notable reduction from a previously established February 20, 2028 release, which itself was a consequence of an earlier one-month extension. During the proceedings, jurors were presented with recordings of police interviews in which Keffe D claimed that Combs had offered a substantial sum, reportedly $1 million, to orchestrate the deaths of both Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight. Keffe D’s assertions detailed alleged conversations with Combs regarding the motive to "get rid of those dudes" and multiple discussions pertaining to the execution of these alleged hits.
